You could try tweeting MPS Bloomsbury and asking for a re-tweet. https://twitter.com/mpsbloomsbury or just tweeting and using the hashtag bloomsbury. I'm not on Facebook so don't know any local groups.:hello:

Might be worth trying to see if the University of London has a "lost property" at Senate House overlooking Russell Sq.0

Sadly this type of thing happens all the time in London. You always need to hold onto your handbag and keep it closed.
Sometimes they take what they want and dump the bag. If someone finds it its likely to come back to you via the police. I've had a bag returned once via the police, the woman he had attacked a couple of days before went looking for hers and found mine. Cash has gone but a £25 gift voucher was still there, police say criminals often won't touch them as they have codes on.
Police tend not to do much unless there is violence involved. If she comes to London again I would carry round the absolute minimum she needs and keep constant hold of it. Maybe lock it in hotel safe and just take out what she needs. Best hope is probably via hotel but they may not be keen to help if they are saying its a non resident though that could well be accurate. If they have a CCTV picture of reasonable quality the police may do something.0 -
You could try e-mailing the Evening Standard and see if they will run a piece esp if you can get a photo from CCTV explaining the photos etc. Though if they agree run it past police but they should be fine with it. As its common they may not but it goes out across London and there's all kinds of stuff in there.
