Conecting FaxFriend to ADSL line

My brother runs his own small business and currently has two phone lines, one of which is dedicated to a Streamline credit card machine. The remaining line has a master socket, from which runs an extension to his office. He then has a Fax Friend which diverts faxes to the fax machine and telephone calls to the phone. He laslo has an answering machine couled to the phone.
He is looking to scrap the deicated line for the Streamline machine, have his main phone line converted to ADSL and then have everything running off the one line.
I was wondering if anyone had advice about connecting all this up and how many filters would be required.

should be okay, if it's just a standard extension which you would have in the home. If it's the type where the phone extensions have their own internal numbers then it won't normally work, but most fax machines wont work on those lines either. (Hence in many offices the ADSL on the fax line).
No of filters: either one or two. depending if he has anything connected to the mastersocket. For filters it's one per socket with a phone/fax attached. You would plug the Fax Friend into the filter.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:
