Finding a Will in Hong Kong

Options
My father, who is criitically ill, has a Will made in HK in addition to the one in the UK, where we live.

He recently revealed to me that his wife (not my mother) has expressed how she feels a little hard done by with the UK Will. My father has compensated her by giving her the lion's share in the HK Will, which only she has a copy of.

My question is can she deny all knowledge of this Will when the time comes? I presume it would mean she would then be entitled to 100% of it? How can I find out which solicitors he used to draft it up?

Apologies if these are daft questions. I have done some research but am still very much clueless.

Thank you in advance.

It depends what the HK laws are regaring intestacy. You have zero chance of finding out who the solicitors are unless your father tells you. Even then until he dies they would not tell you anything.

It would appear that intestacy laws in Hong Kong are similar to our own, although if he is resident in the UK then his movable estate will use UK law and his movable assets by HK law, so it is somewhat complicated.
