It sounds like you need to get medieaval on it with an old-fashioned rubber plunger. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

bicarb and something (I forget what) is a good drain unblocker I believe - someone with Martins OS book to hand might be able to tell you!0

I use a metal skewer to poke out any nasty bits lurking down the plug hole.
Is your bath panel easily removed, as it may be that the u-bend in the pipe is blocked and needs cleaning. If the panel is well fixed on, then as an earlier poster suggested, out with the plunger.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

Try plugging the outlet hole with a bit of damp tissue, put a bit of water in the sink/bath and with an old dishcloth sort of pump it up and down!! like you would if you used a plunger.:xmastree: Comping since: june 2007:xmastree:not won a thing!!:wall: :wall: :wall:0

A good cupful of washing soda followed by a kettleful of almost boiling water does the trick in our house. OH has quite long hair which gets trapped in the plughole!
I probably do this once every three weeks or so, then it doesn't really build up and cause a big problem.
