i am fuming. I have just completed a long winded survey that took me about 40 mins to complete asking about baby food. At the end it said this survey is now closed as they have had enough answers. If I am not paid for wasting 40 mins to £1.50 or whatever it is, I am going to get very angry!

Anybody else do this survey? Social Research!

Spiddy, I Had Some Right Trouble Getting My Voucher Ordered With M.o.
I Earned £10, £8 Was Credited A Few Days After Each Survey, Did Not Receive Any Surveys For Months- So Emailled And Asked Why I Had Stopped Getting The Emails Now I Was So Close To My Pay Out Amount- I Was Told That The Emails Were Only Sent To Suitable People. Load Of Rubbish- It Was Months Since Id Had Any Sent. Eventually Got Another Few Emails For Surveys- Which Gave Me The £2 I Needed To Make Up My Voucher.
The £2 Was Left Pending For Months And Months, Therefore Meaning I Couldnt Order My Voucher.
I Emailled The Address I Found On The Website, Getting The Reply Back Saying Sorry I Will Credit The Surveys Etc. £1 Was Credited, Leaving My Balance At £9 And Pending £1. Left It Another Few Weeks, Emailled Them Yet Again Saying Exactly Same Thing- Then Finally, The Last £1 Was Credited.
When I Receive My Voucher I Will Be Emailling Them To Tell Them Exactly What I Think, Cos They Are A Load Of Old Cr4p Tbh.

    :)

No i didn't do that survey but that has happened to me before on a VO survey.
It was also a 40 mins survey & i had done 75% when it said the survey was closed... or something like that. I wasn't impressed so emailed them.

The gist of their email was that they only have a certain number of places on surveys... eg 100 for the survey you did. They send out more than 100 invites & who ever completes it first gets the money. If 101 people start at the same time, who ever is the fastest gets paid, if your slow you lose out. They said that sometimes people start a survey then don't complete it. At the end of the email they said something like, don't worry we didn't use your answers
Needless to say they didn't pay me for the 30mins i had wasted doing the survey.

However i have to say that in general i've found VO & MO to be pretty good.
I've just got £60 from VO & already have £40 in my account, a lot of that pending.
MO is slow & i don't get many surveys but i've made about £15 in about a year.

Some people only dream of angels, i held one in my arms.
    Praying this baby makes it.

I think you are a lucky one, I have been with mums opinions and valued opinions and have had about £30 in about 3 years!

I think with all survey sites it depends on your age, where you live, family etc.
I get more surveys than my sister yet we have a similar family set up, but i live in London & she doesn't. I rarely get surveys from pinecone but some get loads. They recently sent me an email saying they needed parents with kids under 3...... yet i have 2 under 3 years at the moment, why not send me some surveys then :rotfl:instead of letting more people join lol. VO do takes ages to credit you with your money. I've have one £15 survey pending for a couple of months now
