by the way, Argos are doing a cookworks 3.5l slow cooker for 9.99- don't know if it's as good but I prefer the look of the tesco one anyway, matches my kitchen ;)
  • Just been to my local store and they were still priced up at £19.97, anyway took one to the customer services and asked her to scan it and it came up at £9.98 :j :j

They are re-pricing them now to £9.98!! Glad I asked now and didn't walk away.

Well impressed with my purchase and can't wait to use it.

Made a casserole of shin beef on Thursday to try it out. Absolutely delicious but needed to thicken it with SmartPrice instant mash flakes. I'm finishing the last off for my tea. :)

Slow cookers are geat, but need less liquid than traditional oven casseroles. Have you tried the nigella gammon cooked in coke in it yet?

I just got it on Wednesday and made my first effort Thursday. I love gammon though. Not sure about coke??? I'll have to look up her recipe.
