Sound OK but it is for an Inside Cabin which I would be not really keen on. Off on RCC to Alaska in 3 weeks time. Westbound you will get 25 hours days (i think). For more info on RCC CLICK HERE**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0

Sounds good. Are there any hidden costs like expensive food on the boat?
What is the usual price for a cruise like this?0 -
personaly I thinks its a very good price and ni hiden costs for food.
It might be worth checking the cost of tips
But I would opt out anyway of teh purser taking the tips each day because I dont think they ever get to where they should go and I like to sort my own out at the end of a cruise. But worth checking anyway.
RCCL do often add the tips on at something like £7 pp per day but all you have to do is go to the pusers desk and opt out on your first day.

Thanks saveapenny.
Food is all inclusive on the cruise but drinks ARE NOT! so beware, as we do not drink alcohol and only drink pop I think we could have a cheap bar bill!! However we have prepaid out tips as this will be our first cruise and do not know the "cruise way of life!" but at least that is one less thing to worry about.**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? My wife and I have cruised 3 times in 3 years. It is brill. We have done the Med, Carribbean and Panama Canal. All good for various reasons. First cruise with Airtours to Med, we loved it and it got us hooked. Then Carribbean with P&O, deffinately a different class, and finally Panama Canal with Princess (very similar ship to P&O as they are the same company). Food is fantastic, Art auctions are fun, entertainment is amazing, especially on the british ships, the cost of drinks is very reasonable, about UK prices. All drinks tend to have a tip in the bill. The tips built in are good and save any embarassment at the end. If you are unhappy you can alter or stop the automatic tipping from your cabin account. The first 2 cruises we booked with tour operators. The last one I booked independantly. This is much better but there are considerations. If you book your own flights you need to arrive a day early (if a flight with 200 passengers for the ship is delayed they wait, if it's just 2 then they wave bye bye). That said 4 nights in NY followed by 1 night in Florida wasn't to rough before the cruise. You also then get good flights. And your own control. I booked this last cruise through an American company who were very good. If anyone is interested please pm me and I will give you the details. If people are interested I will post the sites I use.To win a competition gives you the spirit to carry on (Comping).0

I have looked at cruise411.com who have a live search on the web site so you can see what cabins are left but not booked with them.If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -
