DD (she of my avatar) is getting married in an open air wedding on Friday at 12.:00 Thunderstorms forecast for 13:00.
Wow! :j :j :j:beer: (re. the wedding)
(re. The thunderstorms).
It's Sod's law, isn't it?
However, the thunderstorms that were forecast for here a few days ago didn't materialise, so don't worry too much.
Very brave to plan an open-air wedding, though! Stronger nerve than I'd have!(I just lurve spiders!)

Congratulations! Mazeltov!
We went to an outdoor wedding in Canada. There was a 3% chance of rain at the time of the wedding - the only forecast of potential rain for the whole week. Just as the guests were sat down, while the bridal party were still indoors about to walk down the "aisle", the heavens opened. We were soaked but the bride remained dry.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. This could be a truly memorable wedding, as it's in the middle of Hampstead Heath, and the weather forecast is now for thundery showers at the precise time of the wedding. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Re the wedding, there'd always have been something that was "all your fault" ... if it does happen, at least you've got a comeback that it was all God's fault ... although better not else the big list of things that are all your fault will be pulled out.0

Hope the happy couple have a memorable day, however the weather turns out, and a wonderful marriage for years to come.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Am at Aged P's house today. It is impossible to hurry him. We are no nearer deciding on a plan to deal with his books.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Anyway you can gently suggest that he takes his favourites and box up the remainder?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
