    I have the keys and can lock the old thread if it gets confusing. Will leave it open for now as some NP like deleting posts.

    Some posters are careful about leaving a trail on the internet long term. I can't work out whether they are extremely wise, or somewhat paranoid. Or both! :)

    I did at one stage consider going back and deleting. Then realised how much drivel I'd posted over the years and decided life was far too short. I shall spend the time accumulated on nice things instead. :)

    I've never understood why people delete posts long after we have moved on from that page. I've also never seen it happen on any other thread or any other forum.

    Presumably the deleters are well aware that nothing totally disappears and it's all on the internet somewhere, even if it is not visible to peeps casually reading back.
