I thought high court "bailiffs" only got involved if the figure ((court owed) was greater than £600 , I cannot see those photobucket links as I use an ad blocker

Yes you are correct. Taken from one of the OP's myriad other threads.
Ive just got a letter through dated Tuesday 21st stating that i never replied to the claim form and are now ordered to pay Horizons parking fine £500, interest £32.58 and legal fees £155

I assume (and the OP has probable stated somewhere) that this was more than one ticket.

umm , right , probably watching to much TV here , but I thought that the "high court mob" did not give any notice , (AKA "wont pay , take it away" , it was the county court that gave a date , and warnings , the escalated to high court ,

just wondering if this is another DCBL dirty trick

according to that letter , the county court judgement was started on 22/06/2017 , and they have issued (or sent) that letter on the 23/06/17 , was the judgement day the date of the default or the default date + 28 days

DCBL are slimey !!!!!!s , and have been cought before trying to pretend high court

I'm quite confused by the terminology and words being thrown around here

There are 3 parking charges which have had numerous add ons, legal fees, dcbl fees, interest and court costs etc to push it to £800 i think without looking.

If i lose in the set aside hearing do i have to pay for DCBL costs also?

Why have they brought DCBL into this at this stage despite there being a hearing for a set aside?

What evidence do i take into my set aside hearing?

If DCBL are acting as bailiffs with a High Court writ (could be if the sum does exceed £600), then you need specialist advice, not parking charge advice - there's a bit of a difference.

You will be best served in dealing with bailiffs by making contact with 'Bailiff Advice Online'. Sheila, who provides this excellent service, has an extremely good reputation for assisting people with bailiff issues.

Calls and the email enquiry service are free.

amongst the other things , lets start with ther claim

1: the parking tickets are set at £100 , wierd innit that they have gone for £500 , thats £166.66p each
2: the max figure for legal fees is £50
3: I also question the interest charged

thanks for the link guys, posted my question to them, how long does it take to reply?

    my question is below

There was a court summons sent in February, the defence was sent immediately. A month later (in March) the court sent a letter stating it had not received a defence and that a default judgement was made against me.

I immediately applied to have this set aside with form N244, within 3 days of the judgement being made. In May, the court sent a letter stating that a hearing date has been arranged for the set aside on the 3rd July and sent this to both parties.

As i am waiting for the set aside hearing to take place, i never paid the debt, because i deny that i owe the money.

On June 23rd, i received a letter from DCBL enforcement agency which stated that i owe the claimant £687.58. It then states that (the court judgement or order or (sic) enforcement power...) County Court Northampton, Date of CCJ 21/03/17, High court name Queens Bench, Judgement date 22/06/17, Judgement ref >left blank<. ... I don't understand what this means though.

It then goes on to state Debt £805.33, Interest £0.15, Compliance stage fee £90, Total sum £895.48. I need to contact the enforcement agent to pay by the 4th July.

What i don't understand is why am i receiving bailiff letters for a high court judgement dated the 22nd June when i have got a set aside hearing on the 3rd July, and i need to comply with this letter and pay by the 4th July which is a day after the set aside hearing.

I also don't understand why the company are getting bailiffs involved when there is a date set for a set aside hearing that they are aware of.

Finally i don't understand why the sums are increasing as they are, there is an unexplained £117.75 increase from the "owed money through judgement" and what DCBL claim is the "debt" (687.58 > 805.33). There is then interest and a compliance stage fee which i do not understand as nothing has been done, except a letter sent to myself demanding payment, this has taken it up by another £90.15 to £895.48.

@chad888. Are you the same poster as cottom888?

There's a chance of this becoming rather confusing
