Enforcement Agent Letter Saying Bailiffs are Coming

I got issued County Court papers and i posted my response in a letterbox back to the court, hindsight should have been recorded etc.
Recieved a letter a few weeks later saying they recieved nothing and judgement has been made against me automatically. I immediately paid the £250 and filed the form to appeal this decision, can not remember the name.
After around 1 month i got a letter saying that the hearing to review my appeal will be the end of June, a few days after this i got a letter from Gladstones demanding payment. I ignored this waiting for response from thw courts appeal process.
This morning i've woken up, a week before the hearing will take place, to a letter from dcbl certified bailiffs and high court enforcement agents. It says that I owe money to Horizon and they have added £200 for sending a letter rising to £1000 of there own costs if they send bailiffs if i dont pay the money by next week.
What am i meant to do? I'm sure i shouldn't pay it because it is going through the court, but now they are sending bailiffs and adding them costs to my charge to, and if i lose in court if the appeal is succesful and it goes back to the small claims track will i owe these bailiff bills to?

As it has not gone to court yet, there can be no instruction
for bailiffs or any other costs.
Are you certain that this actually refers to the Horizon ticket or is it another matter.
As said DCBL are also debt collectors but something is seriously wrong here
Can you scan the letter on your PC and upload it to a free site like photobucket.
This will provide a link which as you are new here, please show the link as hxxp and we will convert it.

However as judgement has been awarded then DCBL will be acting as baillifs. As the appeal hasnt yet been heard then they still have the right to attempt collection accordance with the judgement0 -

Yes it does, the OP said "This morning i've woken up, a week before the hearing will take place"
Over to you OP to explain0 -
Yes it went to small claims court, they never recieved my defence and automatic judgement went to Horizon.
I appealed by filing form n244 and paying £250.
The court said that the appeal was going to be reviewed on the 27th i think of june.
I recieved a letter this morning from dcbl who have demanded that i arrange payment with them immidietly for the charge plus there initial £200 for the letter being sent out. If i don't by the 4th July then i will get bailiffs round and that will incur a further £1000 charge.0 -
If you get the set aside on the 27th then there is no need to pay and they can not do anything on the 4th July0

Right, and you are going to the hearing on 27th June armed with your reasons for the set aside?
i.e. a copy of your defence and a clear statement that you did post it, and evidence that you will be relying upon in defence? Are you ready for that hearing? Please tell us you are. Also take along the letters they have been sending to show the Judge.
YOU MUST ATTEND, IF 27TH JUNE IS A SET ASIDE HEARING.
This is not a form-ticking exercise. No-one else can go instead of you, and you MUST attend in time. Get it set aside, ask the Judge for an urgent Order to show to DCBL.
Are you clear on your strong defence and about claiming YOUR costs?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
