    No it probably says 10 but it's 34 years since we made a claim so whatever the company says we should get their maximum discount I assume. That's why I said we have FULL NCD.

    You could try putting the old car through the local auctions, I've sold a few old cars this way and if you speak to the auctioneer first they can usually give you a good idea of what it will reach.

    When you get a quote for insurance and it asks you have many years NCD you have then you must quote the number stated on your renewal documents. If they ask for proof that is the number they will look at. Not making a claim for 34 years is irrelevant to them because they only ask for claims for the last 5 years and only want to know the NCD stated on your renewal documents.
