Wood burner install only quote

Hi,
We live in a new build with a lined chimney
We have a suitable hearth fitted
We are supplying a Charnwood stove
We have had a quote for £1000 from an installer to fit the wood burner, does this sound high? Unless I am missing something all that is required is to drill hole for outside vent, fit some board to then connect flue into chimney?
Has any body else in Milton Keynes area used anybody for supply only of a wood burner?
Thanks

if it was that easy everyone would be doing it
you are not just paying for the install but for his qualifications and his associated costs of getting a licience etc0 -
Thanks, I fully appreciate that, I was just hoping closer to the £300-500 mark for what I have been told (by the fitter) is half a day's work0

many HETAS installers do not like to install customer supplied stoves, largely because of the number of "seconds" on Ebay and the like. They must certify that the appliance & the installation are safe to building control and you are paying for that assurance.
That said, it is possible to install yourself and advise building control try looking at https://www.stovefittersmanual.co.uk0 -
You could do it yourself, and get it signed off by building control. You don't NEED to use a HETAS installer. You'll need to do your reading, though.
1k seems a little on the high side to me if it's going straight out of an external wall, and straight up.
It would be cheap if it was going up through a chimney/etc internally.0
