Nectar Points offer on JS Balance Transfer Card

I've recently been accepted for the 28 month Sainsbury's Bank Balance Transfer card. The balance transfer requested on the application has gone through and there is still some remaining credit available.
There is also a 'spend £250 at JS get 5000 Nectar Points' offer sitting on the card, which I have until August.
If I spend £250 at JS, then make a payment for £250 when that first statement comes through, will I be able to avoid paying any interest, or will it all go in to some kind of combined average?

Neither.
It will go towards the purchases as the highest rate balance.
However, you will pay interest on the purchases balance until cleared as you won't have cleared the entire balance in full.0 -
Assuming it's the 28 month no fee balance transfer card, it also has 0% interest on purchases for first 3 months. If you spend and pay off within these 3 months, there shouldn't be any interest charged.0
