Very / Littlewoods / Great Universal / Kays PPI?

Options
Hello folks, I was hoping someone on here could help me with the following please?

My mum has had accounts with the following catalogues for roughly over 40 years and was a regular user up to present day.

Very
Littlewoods
Great Universal
Kays
Burlington

(I think some of these are the same catalogue but changed names over the years).

Anyway, we were thinking about the possible PPI that she may have paid over this period and it does seem online that these catalogues did apply PPI (probably under a different name) as I'm reading about other people having being charged and therefore submitting their claims.

I was therefore wondering if anyone can point me in the direction to a good template letter I can use for this and also any advice as to what information I need to provide?

Also, does anyone have good direct contacts for each of these companies PPI Claim departments?

Any help on this would be great thanks!

You first need to ascertain if your Mother actually purchased PPI.

Just because a firm offered the insurance it does not automatically follow that she had it.

Only when you have found out for certain, and you have solid reasons for doing so, should you advance to complaint...

Note that if you have no records of this finance, it's highly likely no one else will either.

Well if you have no records and they dont either...how can they check.

Ppi was not regulated till 2005 so any complaint for before then, they can just tell you to jog on.

I dont think you have a chance to be honest

PPI if connected to a bank or other member of GISC was, sometimes these companies will look at older cases or the underwriters but otherwise yes

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
