swapping phone companies nightmare

I used money supermarket to check out cheaper phone deals and swapped to tentel, what a complete nightmare and its costing me a fortune! They changed my phone number, I run a business from home so I've lost business. I phoned ever day to find out what they were doing to find number , being put on hold and passed from department to department, costing me money on my mobile. After 8 day s I rang old company who found my old number in 5 minutes so I've arranged to go back with them. Rang tentel to cancel but apparently the cancellation department was unavailable they'd ring me back, they never did. I rang again on hold for 15 minutes, rang again tried going to new accounts department, there not taking on new accounts. Phone line went dead for a hour that morning. Eventually I had a response to my written complaint being told I was being charged for early cancellation.

It may be better if the title of your post was more of a criticism of the 'phone company' you used , I expected your complaint to be with the switching process itself, not the company you switched to.
I hope you get it sorted but some company's like that promise savings that don't materialise , but hammer you with early termination costs when you want to leave0 -
Tentel have gone into administration.
From their HomepageOn 2 June 2017 T C MacLennan and A I Fraser of FRP Advisory LLP were appointed Joint Administrators of Tentel Limited.
The affairs, business and property of the Company are being managed by the Administrators. The Joint Administrators act as agents of the Company and without personal liability.0 -
I'm cross with both tentel for not providing the service I wanted and money supermarket.com as this is where I found tentel. They have just said it's not their problem where I feel if they are advertising these people they should help when there is a issue .0
