Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0

The model of the boiler would be very helpful0

According to the fault finding chart there should be a number after the "F" as all faults start with "F".0

Thanks for replies, the boiler started to work ok again over weekend however tried the water today and problem back again this time when I turn hot water on the boiler starts with 1.3 bar then green light comes on then goes off and flashes 88 then 00 and back to 1.3 bar again and keeps repeating this continually but no red light or letter F, hope someone can make sense of this. Thanks in advance0

Did you read Zaax's fault code link?
There is more than one model that ends with cxi - here's one of them. https://www.glow-worm.co.uk/trade/service/fault-finding-codes/subsites/betacom-a-range-13-232584.html
According to that particular boiler type your fault code is F00 Flow heating temperature sensor fault

Hi yes I did read Zaax's fault code, however when I turn hot water on the boiler starts with 1.3 bar then green light comes on then goes off and flashes 88 then flashes 00 and back to 1.3 bar again and keeps repeating this continually, I am no longer getting a red light or the letter F but when I did no numbers after the letter, hope this makes sense.0
