Lloyds Everyday Rewards

As our TSB regular savers are due for their last interest payout about now, I have decided to open Club Lloyds accounts as they will pay the same interest rates as the new TSB option but on £5000 immediately (instead of £250 gradually up to £3000) as well as giving freebies.

I notice that they also have Everyday Rewards which give cashback on transactions with such companies as Morrisons and Superdrug, but as I have not yet opened an account cannot access any details.

Could someone give me examples, please, of the everyday shopping companies involved and how much the cashback is ?

It's set up according to individual spending patterns as per https://www.lloydsbank.com/online-banking/benefits-online-banking/everyday-offers/faqs.asp:
The offers you receive are chosen for you based on the places you have previously shopped at before using your Lloyds Bank debit or credit card, or merchants you have set up a Direct Debit with. You may receive offers for places you have shopped at before or places we think you might like to try.

I have recently opened a Bank of Scotland account which has the same features. I've currently got 5% cash back at Morrisons, 15% at Nandos, 10% at Q-Park. I know others with the Bank of Scotland and they have ASOS, New Look, Jamies Italian etc. The offers refresh and are time limited, all you need to do is click "activate" (I did this in the mobile app) and then when you pay using your debit card you earn the cash back. It's paid at the end of the following month.

At the moment I spend most using TSB contactless to get the 5% cashback, but these rates are better.

Has anyone had an offer on petrol ?

Their algorithm must be way out for me, I never have anything of interest.

The above list looks about right. I currently have 19 offers with some slight variations on the above. Amount varies between 5 and 15%. Have been using the Morrisons and Co-Op offers recently to buy a carton of 200 cigarettes so at 5% get around £5 for each, but most of the other offers rarely use as they are not from places I have ever shopped at and am unlikely to shop at, except the Toby Carvery and Vintage Inns restaurant offers. Currently have a 15% offer from Vintage Inns which also accept the Gourmet Society card so that could produce a nice discount.
You do realise that in order to get and take advantage of these offers you need to use your debit and/or credit card. Just putting £5kin the account for interest purposes will not get you any offers.

I've had an offer once (sometime last year) for Texaco fuel but it's not been repeated since.
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.

I had the impression that they chose places you tend to shop at, but it looks as though they offer other companies which are similar to the ones you use (hence all the hotels and eating places on the list above)

Out of my current list I have shopped at two of the places, using my debit or credit card. My Halifax account, where I've probably used the debit card (I don't have a Hfx CC) three or four times in two years, I have only two reward offers.
