I agree it is a good deal if Seats are your thing ..

    I prefer good cars ;)

Exactly - so we shouldnt be "knocking" the brand in this deal when

    (a) we cant come up with a better deal
    (b) the bulk of people wont give a monkeys whether theres a SEAT, Skoda, VW or Audi badge on the front (or any other brand for that matter).

Its a brand new. decent sized car with a three year warranty for £11,995.

And what is "good" car these days?

Its surprising actually who might buy something like this.

A guy i work with has a 5.0 litre Mustang, bought brand new last year (black, black wheels and black leather) and has ran LHD import Mustangs this past 20 years or so. He also has an American Ford "truck" for the dump runs. He also had Escort and Sierra Cosworths "back in the day".

His missus drives the Skoda variant of this SEAT - they use it for shopping centre runs, she runs it to work, etc.

I'd say they'd be all over a deal like this.

Astute gentleman. Demand and supply means he's got one of the few cars that have made money and not depreciated.

Indeed. Even with the LHD stuff he was driving over the years he had minimal depreciation.

this is a really good deal for a top spec Toledo.

the car is similar to the Skoda rapid, but better spec.

In fairness, this is a budget car that isnt that great dynamically.

Whilst there is a Skoda equivalent, there is no Audi or VW variant.

If you're just looking a car to take you from a to b, its a good price given its brand new and a 3 year warranty.

£12k looks a good price to me.

But a list price of £20,610?
I presume the equipment tally is high.
