Conveyancing- no move, no fee - Purple Bricks

Sorry, the pricing I gave was from my local solicitor. I don't have to instruct them until we have a buyer and have found somewhere (hopefully). Then fingers crossed it just goes through. As I said, where I'm anticipating making a saving on high street fees if something does happen it would cover any additional fee with the solicitor.
With the PB conveyancers they say it's a "panel of lawyers", so guessing you just get allocated to any one of them. When we used an estate agent recommended set-up before it was a nightmare. And unfortunately the EA didn't give a monkeys about it. They were hard to contact, and pretty much incompetent to boot. I was always against using the PB conveyancing, but then when I thought about the no sale/no fee I started worrying about that! I am not a good decision maker - I think it's the chance of getting things wrong - but I've stuck with my instincts this time and what will be will be. Now I just have to find a property and find a buyer!0 -
Trying to view a property listed with PP is a nightmare, I would not trust any of their services.
I've viewed several with them. It's a straightforward online booking form, and a confirmation email is sent to confirm the booking. The good thing from a buyers point of view is that you get an email every time a viewing is booked or offer made. It probably works well for sellers too as it will encourage anyone thinking of an offer to put one in. On the other hand buyers also know if there are no other viewings, so maybe put in a couple of fake ones to seem more popular :rotfl:0
