Possible fraudulent transaction

Got my CC statement today.........was an entry in US dollars that I have no idea what it is......description is WIND-AND-RAIN.COM.

Anyone ever had this on their card......anyone know what it is?

The CC co issued new cards on my account to be safe.

I had this previously when I purchased something on eBay from the states. After tracing it, I found out there was a glitch with PayPal and they sorted it to GBP fairly quickly.

What does your credit card fraud dept say about it? they should be able to reimburse the funds.

Unfortunately you dont get to speak to fraud department these days......just some numpty in an Indian call centre. Anyway, said numpty said they were going to investigate it and if found to be fraudulent, they would remove the charge.

Didnt buy anything from the States around that time.....at least I have no memory of it.

No trace on google of WIND-AND-RAIN.COM.....no website......

Looking up the domain name register for "wind-and-rain.com", produces the following Los Angeles address. Unfortunately, it can easily be faked but if you can link the address to a company you may be able to track them down:
