Holiday changes! Help!

Ok so me and my partner booked a 2 week all inclusive holiday to Cuba for September 2017, due to unforeseen circumstances we couldn't go this year so we were given the option, £500 to cancel or pay an extra £400 and go September 2018 so we changed to September 2018. We booked the holiday because it was a Thomas cook signature hotel however now we've received an email saying it's no longer a Thomas cook signature hotel
They are closed at the moment so we cannot find out the reason now but now we don't want to go b cause of this, the total to pay is around 2,900 between us and we don't want to change again as they might add more costs and we're already stretching ourselves for the extra £400
Because the hotel is no longer a signature hotel for them does that leave us any rights to cancel the holiday or at least change hotel for no extra cost?
Can anyone give me some advice
Thanks in advance

The sub-brand that Thomas Cook have labelled this hotel really has no bearing on the hotel over all and therefore you have no right to cancel free of charge.
Has anything changed in terms of hotel facilities or inclusions with the 'Signature' brand being withdrawn? If so and they are significant then you may be able to look at moving to an alternative TC hotel or ask if the original Signature options and inclusions can still be given (e.g. Free inflight seating).0
