I am in need of advice I purchased a piece of property in September 2013 and there was a haystack left on the property when I purchased it. 40 months later in January 2017 a coworker was in need of hay for his cattle and I sold it to him about three months later the neighbor came by who lives about 2 miles away and said that that was his haystack and he had a verbal agreement with the previous owner to store his haystack there. He now claims I owe him $2700 and if I do not pay him he is going to get law enforcement involved and get me for theft of stolen hey. The neighbor knows I purchased the place in September 2013 and there was never any verbal or written saying with me that he could keep his hay there.

Popping back probably means something completely different!
Indeed, the misunderstanding nearly sent the British aupair nanny Louise Woodward to prison in the baby shaking case back in 1997 in the USA:
Louise stood up well under cross-examination, brushing aside Leone's suggestion that she had been upset with the Eappens on the day of the incident. Nor, she stated, had she told police that she had "dropped" Matthew on the bathroom floor, but rather "popped" him on the bathroom floor, explaining that "pop" is an English term that means to "lay" or "place."Gather ye rosebuds while ye may0 -
