Yes - it sounds as if it should/could have defaulted in 2015, but didn't.
If the default can be backdated to then, then the OP would be 2 years into the 6 year period.
Edit: Although I realise that there are at least 3 accounts being discussed on this thread, some of which defaulted, one of which didn't...!0 -
I'd say check your files and see what has been recorded as a default and what hasn't. Then accept it. Whilst I personally think payday loans should be banned, you did take the money. Yes it was stupid, but you have to take some responsibility! I was in a similar situation. I had 7 loans at one point. For whatever reason not all the loans showed on my file so you might be lucky and find they haven't all been recorded.0
