Plevin question

Hello

I have had a few PPI compensation pay-outs.

However, I have been reading about the Plevin case & am a bit confused. Does this mean you can go back to a provider who has previously paid out to claim against the providers PPI commission or does Plevin only apply to new claims or claims that have previously been rejected.

Thanks

It only applies to rejected complaints. If you think about it logically, an upheld complaint gets 100% of the premium paid returned. There is nothing else to refund when it has already been refunded.

Plevin only refunds the excess above 50% commission. We haven't seen many Plevin refunds yet on this board. A couple of credit card PPI complaints have been posted about where the card provided said they had checked under the plevin ruling and the commission was in the 30% range and therefore not applicable. Single premium PPI is the big one for commission take but then most of those get upheld.

    Really?
On previous threads you have said you are a bankrupt who therefore cannot receive PPI refunds as they belong to the Official Receiver.
