There is some repetition, the purpose being to be able to bring in the exhibits which weren't included in the defence.0

Any other comments? If not I'll send it off as I'm going away on holiday tonight.
Forgive me but I cannot find how exactly I send the witness statement and exhibits - is this all in the post to the court and their solicitors?
Thank you all.0 -
Your letter from the court should tell you were to send/take WS and evidence. Usually once you have prepared you court bundle in a ring binder with a contents page, WS and a tabbed page for evidence, you take this to your local court and make sure you get a receipt (don't forget to keep a copy of it all for yourself) but you can e-mail the claimant's copy. If you want to post the claimant's copy, send it from the post office and get a proof of posting certificate. Do not send it signed for.0

The D didn't attend court (the court and Gladstonws were warned in advance). The hearing was 2 weeks ago now and not heard anything - should I be expecting something through the post? Or can I check the result somehow?
Thanks0 -
The Defendant can phone the court and ask, can't they?
The court may give an answer... or they may not. You have lost the cost of a phone call.0 -
Gladstones withdrew the claim before the 30th, but failed to notify us. It was a 'Notice of Discontinuance' - does this mean we're out of the woods or could they rear their head again in a few months time?
Either way, good result!0 -
Theyre not going to be allowed to file another claim - or rather, doing so means you Apply to court (£100) and get it thrown out before it hits small claims track, meaning you get full full sweet costs.0
