    Hello!

Try http://www.thebigsheep.co.uk/ this place was great for all ages!

We are in our late 20's and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!! Your kids will love it! We thought it might kill a couple of hours but we ended up staying all day as there was plenty to do, including lots of undercover shows, a kids play barn, and a free internet zone. Also lots of SHEEP! and other animals.

It's about 45 mins from woolacombe, but well worth the drive!
  • Nip into ilfracombe, about 10 15mins drive. there is a museum of unusal things there. Not much in woolacombe itself apart from the bay if the weather is nice. All very hilly around there though.
  • can't remember the exact name but there's a zoo/dinosaur park in combe martin.

brace yourself for steep climbs but a great day out.

    thanks all :)

someone else recommended the big sheep aswell,it looks fab !
  • I live not too far from North Devon and it is a lovely part of the country.
I've heard good things about Exmoor Zoo (Yeh another zoo) and if you fancy a bit of local produce then Barnstaple Pannier Market is worth a visit. It is open on various days- here is a guide of what & when.

    Enjoy yourselves

What about Lynton & Lynmouth. We drive to Lynton (top of the hill), park and catch the Funicular railway down the cliff to Lynmouth. They are both very pretty places to visit (even in the rain). Our kids love it.
