Hello
I am looking to get 1 ceiling fan for the living room and 3 for the bedrooms. Can someone recomend a fan which gives out a lot of wind.
Thank you
The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer - I was in my late 20s when I figured out what this meant.

I neither take or enter agreements which deal with interest. I dont want to profit from someone's misery.

  • For "a lot of wind" you have two options.
Either a small fan going fairly fast (which tends to be noisy) or a large bladed fan turning slower.

I have 4 fans in my house (3 in the bedrooms and one in the conservatory) and for the bedrooms I bought Fantasia Viper fans.
    They are not cheap:

but they are very well made and extremely quiet.

I had a problem with the remote control receiver failing on one of them about 1 year after purchase and I phoned Fantasia up and they sent me a new one in the post and I just had to send them the old unit when it had been removed.
Apart from that, I've had the fans for about 7 years now and they are still going well.

We've had fans for years, I've no idea what make they are, they go round at 3 different speeds, the faster 2 are usually too fast. I don't think fans give much trouble so go for what you like, just make sure you've sufficient headroom.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

Another vote for Fantasia. Did you really mean three for each bedroom? Oh, I see, you probably mean one for each of three bedrooms.

Fantasia brand is very expensive. My budget is around £120 per fan.

. Mine were about £20 each from B&Q 10 years ago and have worked perfectly ever since.
