I am trying to find a way to download several thousand PDF's from a website that I am able to access for a specific time (that requires payment outside this period)
I am printing TO file .....
Rather than doing it individually (which will take forever) - is there a way of automating it ?

There are many ways you could do this .. (WGET - Powershell script - using filezilla are 3 examples)
Having pointed out the other day thet you have worked in "proper IT" for 25 years, I would have though you should have this nailed !!0 -
If you want to avoid writing a script for the downloads
Install Jdownloader 2 - http://jdownloader.org/jdownloader2
Highlight the links and copy to clipboard - Jdownloader 2 monitors the clipboard and will add them to its download queue. Repeat for all required links.
Click the "start all Downloads" button at bottom right of the Linkgrabber panel.
You will probably find most defaults are good enough but there is quite a bit you can customise.
Not sure what you meant about printing unless these are html pages and you are printing to pdf.0 -
If the pdf are available via normal web links, a firefox addon called Scrapbook Plus will download the whole site (well all that it has access to) - make sure you have modified the options though, and the number of levels is not 00

If there's navigation involved to get to the PDFs, I'd suggest iMacros (plugin for Firefox... other browsers are compatible).0
