Clearscore / Noodle 95% approved

I am looking for a new, lower rate interest credit card for someone as gradually rebuilding their credit. Previously bankruptcy now fallen off, along with defaulted accounts. They have held a Capital One Card for the last 12 months and have paid in full each month. They also have a catalogue account which again is paid off in full each month.
Going through the credit card checker on ClearScore and Noodle they are being offered a Virgin Money Credit Card now showing 95% approved, two days ago it was showing 100% approved. Is it worth applying for, I don't want to take the risk of a Credit Search if it is not going to worth applying for.

Well, 95% is still pretty good. Although hopefully that stat came from Noddle, rather than a bowl of Noodles.
You can always be rejected, whatever the %. But if you don't want to take the risk, it means never applying for anything.0 -

Virgin Money have their own eligibility checker so you could also use this to confirm likely chance of acceptance.

Thanks for that, tried it was pre-approved, made the application and approved for the All Round Credit Card with a starting limit of £2000, should help to continue to improve their credit file again.0
