Hi
can anyone help, im moving into a new property soon and need to sort my gas n elecrtic supply out. what i need to know is
1. do i have.to go with british gas who have been supplying the property there as i feel i will fail there credit score system
2. how long does it usually take to be sorted.

1. You have to start with British Gas (or the previous supplier) as they will be 'deemed supplier'. If you think they will refuse you a credit meter and you don't want to go on prepayment because you intend to change supplier, you could ask if they will accept a deposit.
2. About 5 mins - you phone them up with the meter readings and they open an account for you.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
