Holiday taxis

Hi

We just got back from a holiday in Benidorm and as there were 11 of us we booked return airport to hotel 12 seater bus through Holiday Taxis. The bus did not arrive to take us to the airport at the agreed time. We tried phoning the number on our booking confirmation letter but no one answered.

In the end we had to get 3 taxis to take us to the airport costing about £250 in total.

I contacted Holiday Taxis and they said to forward the taxi receipts. I did this 3 weeks ago. I have e mailed them 3 times since that but they have stopped replying to my e mails.

Can anyone advise what I can do next?
Val :)

Ultimately you could take them to the small claims court .

Letter Before Action followed by a claim using Moneyclaim Online (it's a bit cheaper that way).

Did you pay by credit card? If so you could claim via section 75

No paid with cash unfortunately. I am also trying to find the name of the Chief Executive or CEO of Holiday Taxis to see if writing to him/her would help. Unfortunately can't get that information from their website.

Writing to a CEO normally has little or no effect as they never get to see your letter and it will get thrown back to customer services. If it is the Holiday Taxis based in Brighton you might write a letter addressed to Ian Coyle who is one of the directors and as others have said, if there is no response, sue at Money Claim on Line

You pre-booked it and paid in cash? How?

Sorry meant to say we paid taxis to take us to the airport in cash
