What does First Class Recorded delivery mean?

£2.54 equates to a 500g package sent first class recorded. They may have used online postage so there wouldn't be an orange sticker or as people have said it has fallen off.

That's a point..so many people are now using paypal postage or print your own via the RM website and not understanding how it works. So they may well have paid for what they thought was recorded, not realising they actually had to go to the Post Office to do it properly and have it tracked?

if you use online postage for recorded delivery you get the tracking number. If you want proof of postage or the item is too big for the post box you still need to go to the post office and have your receipt stamped. As recorded is only tracked on delivery this is enough for paypal. Specials must be scanned at the post office.

They do fall off all the time if not attached properly.
I do see them when theyve done this to me, if he has paid a rate for recorded. its likely to have started its journey like that! Just not reached destination the same
