Watering While Away on Holiday

So I've spent £20 on a micro irrigation system, which I'll only put in temporarily while we're away, although if I have the time, I might look at a semi-permanent set up.

However I am now on to an auto tap controller.
There's one on Amazon for £16, or I can pay double and get a Hozelock one.

Anyone had any experience with tap on/off controllers?

We're going away for around 10 days. So long as the watering gets done once a day for 20 mins or so, that's fine with us.

We have the Hozelock one. Used for watering the tomatoes in the greenhouse when away.

It works well.

Try it out beforehand to check how much water is being delivered. I found it needed less time than I thought.

We have this one from Screwfix - £17. It worked great for us whilst we were away for 3 weeks earlier this year. Definitely recommend it.
