Does anyone have these on their roof?

Had someone round this weekend whose proposing 14 panels that should supposedly cover 3/4 of our energy needs for the year (not including a battery but would also great or water via solar). System would cost 8.5k.

Does anyone have any personal experience of these?

How much were your savings?
Would you recommend the company you used?

1 No way will they cover 3/4 of your energy needs.
2 14 Panels should cost no more than £5,000

This would be better in the green and ethical section of MSE

I had panels fitted 2 years ago (details in my sig) and I save about £20 per month on my electric bill and receive my FIT payment every 3 months which varies according to the power the panels proiduce.

FIT tariffs have reduced dramatically since mine were fitted so your returns will be nothing like mine.

My panels cost £5,500 and I estimated about 6 years before I have recouped my money.

Put the company name in your post in Green and Ethical MS and see if anyone knows anything about them but on first opinion they're well over the top with claims and price
