    Dress smartly.

    Bring your copies of everything in a file you find easy to dip into for each document.

    Get there early, by half an hour, to get calm and find out who is there and who they 'work for'. If it's not the PPC, and it will NOT be Gladstones, then challenge their Rights of Audience using the usual preliminary matters summary posted often here, and the Law Gazette article. Elms Legal hired guns won't have RoA and can be kicked out on the spot if you say the right things first, show the right evidence and if the Judge agrees.

    Then you can speak uninterrupted and pull their WS apart, pointing out how unreasonable it is that the 'witness' was not only never in the car park and isn;t familiar with the site (clearly) and even worse, this 'witness' then failed to show up to be questioned on their statement.

    @Coupon

    This is a UKPC claim and SCS Law. How would Elms be associated with it?

    @caminch

    Just ask the Rep in the waiting room if they are employed by SCS or UKPC or a third party. If they say a third party they will be a "solicitors agent" but they will only be able to address the court if the judge allows. You can ask the judge if the UKPC Rep has Rights of Audience at the start but IMHO it'll not be advantageous with a UKPC case.

    My money is on it being a SCS rep.

    Yay! Well done you, after all this time. :)

    When you have calmed down, please type out a full day's report of how it all happened!

  • Thank you! Will do!
    Will I receive a transcript? Or how can I access it? Just to help me give a better detailed account... :beer:

    You have to apply for the transcript and pay for it. If you are minded to do this, they are extremely useful to other victims and to people like us who try to help them. Only the judgement is needed not the full transcript. The cost depends on how many words the judge used in their judgement. A typical cost would be c.£50.

    Either way, very much looking forward to you report... and very well done!

    No transcript - but can we have your own thoughts about the day, from arrival to the end when the other side scurried out?!
