I have the bread card and i have had no problems.
It's fees are less than the one in the above reply too.

There's a list of these on moneysupermarket for comparison best looks to be the Barclays pre-paid travel card no fees and no charge for withdrawals from ATM's.

You can't shop online with the barclays card though which was my main reason for getting the bread card.

I have recently taken out the Mastercard Cashplus card. It seems to be good although there are a few things that have annoyed me:

1. There is not ONE E-topup outlet in the whole of my city- its 12 miles in neighbouring Bristol to top up

2. Topping up in the PostOffice is ok if you have access to it anytime other than a lunchbreak (unlike me) where there is no que's

3. If you top up on a Friday at the PostOffice it takes until the following Tuesday to reach your account! Whats that about?!

4. I wanted to change the £4.95 per month fee to a straight-forward £1 per transaction (i dont intend to use the card much) and it has been such a hassle to do- i still havnt got round to it!


My advice- get a debit card if you can!
