Loft compensation

Hello, I was wondering if someone can help me as well. Our property is half of lease and we are in the process to buy the full lease with our neighbors (50%/50%). I would like to know if my neighbor, legally, has the right to ask for compensation in case I'll decide to convert the loft in the near future. I'll much appreciate your help. Many thanks.

Get legal advice on this.
Does your home insurance policy come with legal cover? If so, give them a ring and ask.
If not, there is a company called Law express that you can ring for a cost of about £30 per call.0 -
