  • Well it sounds like you've made the decision in your heart and that it feels right, so it doesn't really matter what any of us would do or think at this point. The situation is such that PTS is definitely a legitimate option and not one that you need to feel bad about.

    All that's left to do is give him a fantastic last day with his family where he does all his favourite things and eats all his favourite foods.

    Well today was the day, it was so peaceful and would highly recommend anyone in the same position to hav the vet come to the house as it was more relaxed. They were fantastic.
    We drove him to the pet crematorium ourselves as the vets pick up has passed and taking him into the room for him to rest was so nice.

    Last minute decision to take kids out of school and to let them see him just before and they both wanted to stay during it. They helped carry him to the car and felt at peace with it.
