Great Universal Catalogue - Account Cover Plus (PPI?)

I'm slowly working through my boxes of paperwork and I have come across some statements from the Great Universal catalogue I had back in 2004. The statements each show a different amount of Account Cover Plus.£1.26, £1.36, £1.53, etc.

I have no idea if this is classed as PPI but I remember being annoyed it was always on my statements. Great Universal is not on the drop down menu on the Resolver Tool but on the Bank Giro Credit slip Barclays Bank PLC is named as the 'Automated Bulk Credit Clearing' (whatever that means).

I'm new to this PPI reclaiming, can anyone advise me? Thanks.

You're going to have trouble with this for two reasons.
One it was pre regulation.
Two, it's been sold on and split several times so there's very little way of finding out who is actually going to take responsibility [if any] for the PPI.
I for one, don't know who is doing it now.
