CarTakeback- AVOID

CarTakeback promised me the grand sum of £60 to take away my car. Things started to fall apart however, in their communication with the local scrappage people they used pick up the car- CTB were completely unaware that the car had been picked up. The pick up guy didn't pay me on pick up and I expected a cheque to arrive but no- nothing after a month. I contact CTB several times and they have the gaul to tell me that the 'contract' is between the local guy and myself- it's nothing to do with them!

Take my advice, if you want cash for your car- avoid CarTakeback.

I used them and it was fine, local firm came and paid before taking the car.

Have you spoken to the company that collected it?

Used them twice and completely happy both times.

They made it quite clear I would be paid by the guys uplifting the vehicles.
