GB Energy -- New Tariffs

So it looks like GB Energy is going to continue to work alongside the Co-Op. I thought on expiry we would be transferred over.
My Crystal deal runs out in August. The new deal (ignore the save £200 a year headlines) is around £30 more than the best on the comparison sites and fixed to September 2018. I may just stay.
However, beware of pressing the "switch now" button as you really want to hang onto the 9.4ppkWh (or similar) for as long as possible.
I have to say, the billing has been accurate with GB Energy and they have been responsive to queries. However, my annual bill will be around £200 more whoever I sign up with.

You were transferred over to the Co-op in November 2016 when GB went bust.
GB legacy deals that were in place when GB went bust were honoured, as were the credit balances, when the Co-Op took the supplies over. These will all expire by the end of November as most if not all were 12mth tariffs.
Just be careful on the GB "expect savings" thing listed on the bill as the unit costs are hard to find and I suspect the savings are based on the variable tariff which may be two thirds as much again unit price wise. In the midlands that was something ludicrous like 16.5p a kWh and 25p daily standing.0 -
I only have electricity with them:
GB Lite Online Sept 2018
