Conceded meaning

Hi everyone,
This might be a stupid question, and I have tried to search on here and figure it out but still not sure. Sorry but what does 'The Operator conceded this appeal due to Mitigation' mean? Does it mean my appeal was successful?
I received a debt collection letter - If I won the appeal then I can't wait to tell ZZPS to do one.
Thanks :-)

Without any context it's hard to give a definitive view - but it sounds positive. Who has said 'Conceded this appeal due to mitigation'?
Which operator? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Hey,
Sorry - I was being conscious not to bog the post down
I had a parking charge from ES Parking Solutions which I thought was ridiculous so I appealed it. I never received a reply from them to my appeal which I adapted from on here...thank you for that! They then sent me a demand for payment and I appealed to IPS on Monday. Yesterday I received a debt collection letter from ZZPS. The decision from the IPS website today says 'The Operator conceded this appeal due to Mitigation' so I'm wondering if I won or not? Fingers crossed!0 -
Sounds like a rare case where they threw in the towel on mitigation.0

There are very few IPC operator appeals that are allowed/conceded, you're almost unique! What mitigating points did you make?
If you can confirm that the charge has been cancelled, then complain to the IPC that you are being hassled by ZZPS. You might have a claim against ESPEL for passing on your details without due cause (DPA breach). Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. You won at IAS? Because the PPC gave up? Wow, that's rare, well done!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks guys. Sorry for the late reply. I had a gin to celebrate and also trying to figure out if I can add attachments to a post to show you what I said/did. Like I said, I think I won but have emailed them to check lol. Why they can't just write 'won' instead of self-importance jargon I don't know.
I honestly wouldn't have known what to say without the letter template on this forum! Happy to share though too. Maybe adding files to a Dropbox folder and sharing that link would be better?0 -

Maybe was drawn out of the hat for this week's 20%.
@OP - if that is a bit cryptic, the IAS promised IPC AOS members that 80% of appeals would be dismissed! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
