Separated wife - any rights?

Just lost my reply!
Of course you should receive his occupational pension and a widows pension from the state - officially you were his wife when he died! Did he not pay years into N.I. when he was working? Also, if he owned the home you lived in when together do you not legally inherit part of that? Go see a solicitor a.s.a.p.
To all those people condeming this poster - if you have ex's the first thing you do when you split, is make a new will, then you make sure they do not inherit anything from your work if you die and you also make the seperation legal by getting divorced! If you are not divorced - of course your spouse can make claims against your estate because they are still your spouse even if you do not live together - that is the law!!! Marriage does give you a few rights still in the U.K.0
