Travel Insurance for Profoundly Deaf

Hi
I am profoundly deaf in both ears but wear a cochlear implant that enables me to hear.
Should I declare this on my travel insurance? Is it classed as a medical condition? Even though it doesn't specifically give deafness as an example?
Thanks.

Yes you should but I doubt it should have any impact on your premium. Some policies ask for any medical conditions, some simply whether you have received treatment in the last two/five years, just answer the question honestly and you will hopefully have no issues.0
