With regards to ongoing payments by DD - we paid all last year and they still haven't appeared on the statement. for 2018/19. We will chase them in July
I am employed and my normal NI ones are there for 2018/19 and have been for a month or so0 -
I phoned this morning to pay for year 17/18 @ £741 and got a 18 diget number, i will send this by cheque as i don't seem to be able to fit all the 18 ref number with faster online payments.0

That's unusual - my bank certainly allowed an 18 character reference and looking back through this thread several other posters have also managed to use it ok for a Faster Payment.0 -

Did you have any space for the year or is it just the 18 ref number you quote in the box.0 -

Just setting up my payment online with halifax, and it gives the company name as
HMRC NI Contributions Office.
I tried to set up HMRC NICO Telephone Banking but it reverts to the first option.
Would HMRC NI Contributions Office be ok?0 -

I pay my voluntary NIC via my Halifax account, and the default company name is fine. As long as you get the sorting code and the account number right, it'll go to the correct accountEarly retired - 18th December 2014

I was hoping i could put a note in a comments box, but my halifax or lloyds don't seem to have this option
I pay my NIC via my Halifax account, and the 18 digit code is just fine. If you look, the 18 digit code includes the amount you are paying, so near the start of the sequence you'll see the numbers 74100, therefore HMRC will know what year you are payingEarly retired - 18th December 2014
