machine not working - company didn't answer the phone - advice please

Hi - I have read some of the sticky but still unsure of next action - am a lease car driver have received 'parking charge notice' from parking eye - a BPA member. Car was parked in a private land car park with many other cars that day - machine wouldn't work and the number on the machine was not answered - there were a couple of other people affected in the same way -and i left a note on the vehicle to say machine not working and phone number not operational - letter came two weeks after the 'issue date' so short on time. Am unsure whether to go to appeal with BPA or ignore - there must have been lots of other people in the same position that date - is this a scam on their part - would have been happy to pay the charge but couldn't. Many thanks in anticipation. nb got letter towards the end of may - date of event start of April.

Follow the advice in the newbies faq thread and send the blue typed letter to get a POPLA code


if you inadvertently have used your real name as your forum then get MSE to change it to something truly anonymous.


The ppcs monitor this forum and can use your posts and thread against you
