Yes. Or do it via a file sharing website but by the item you've worked out which one to use, registered, worked out how to use it, and uploaded, you could have sent them in 3 posts anyway.

Thank you for your quick reply. I did try zipping them but just got the same message. I was just hoping to make life easier and send them all at once .

Presumably they are .jpg or .jpeg and there is very little compression available by zipping, so as you have surmised and has been confirmed, separate e-mails.

I use this one https://wetransfer.com/ The recipient gets a link and can download the photos, the link is live for about a week and you get a notivication when they have downloaded the images. The free version is good enough for normal use.

For future reference its a waste of time zipping jpegs, since they are already compressed.

You could always downsize the images. Unless they need to be the size they are.

Right click on each photograph and use Windows (send to option) Mail Recipient and reduce the size of each image. This could reduce each file size by up to 75%.

Alternatively, use a program such as Irfanview, re save the image under a different name but use the compression option to reduce the file size but keeps the size of the photographs. Unless the photograph needs to be printed by the recipient, you may be able to compress by quite a large amount thus reducing the file size considerably.

If you are using Outlook, then you could just change the limit.

Bear in mind not everyone wants to receive large file sizes via mail due to ISP restrictions.

There is no limit on the size of an email or an attachment specified in the RFCs that describe the protocol, however some email providers do set arbitary limits on incoming emails. Since there is no formal maximum size, you can't know what the limit is until you send an email that's too big.

Best bet is to use a file transfer service such as described above, or something like dropbox / google drive etc..

The incoming server wont be blocking the email, it will be your outbound server
Max attachment size is usually set to 25MB

Google drive allows folder sharing too.

Sending by email is just not the way to do things.
