Srpingwatch nest cameras: praise for BBC

Turned the kitchen telly on at lunchtime today. The news was on. Watched a couple of minutes of it and then had enough of feeling depressed when they started showing someone locked up in a shipping container in America by a possible serial killer.

WHY do I need to be told that?

Our TV has a built-in recording device and luckily, there in the list was three hours of Springwatch and a falcon feeding her chicks, and blue tit feeding hers. No sound except for the wind and the chirping of baby birds.

Thanks, BBC, for that. I'll play some more of the recording during tomorrow's lunchtime news, too. :)
