Hi

I am having a new kitchen fitted.

10 new cabinet(4 on the shelf and 6 under),sink, splash back,hood and up stand,plaster the walls. Refitting oven and hob.It is like for like kitchen

how much is a fair price

i have been quoted 2500(without disposal of old kitchen)independent fitter

3000 buy b and q
2750 wrien kitchen dry fit

any advice please

Have a look at diy-kitchens.com

Do your prices include supply and fit of the items you mention? If so, it seems extremely cheap to me.

If it is a very basic like-for-like, this seems a good price. If the work is more expensive, then I would be concerned the price is too low.

Get some other quotes as well so you can make a decision.

The prices that you have seem good. Just compare them with some of the online shops to make sure the price is competitive. A friend of mine got a price for a kitchen and eventually managed to get £5,000 knocked off of it, but it was still £4,000 more expensive that if she had bought it online! It's a minefield out there :-)

I had a qoute from ikea for the same model kitchen.
comes around 1795.Tried to hire builders to fit ikea kitchen
it seems they dont want to do it.fitters prefer howdens or benchmarx.
Any ikea fitters in and aroune ME postcode area please
